1/2 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 egg white
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
Pour boiling water over sugar, egg white and cream of tartar. Beat with electric beater at high speed for several minutes. When frosting peaks, add vanilla. Frost cake.
