Jello Cake

1 packet white cake mix
2 cups boiling water
1 can vanilla frosting
1 packet gelatin (any red flavor) 4 serving size
1 packet lime flavor gelatin

Heat oven to 350-degrees. Prepare, bake and cool cake mix as directed on package for 2 9-inch round cake layers. Poke cake with large fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Stir 1 cup of boiling water into each flavor of gelatin in separate bowls for 2 minutes or until dissolved. Carefully pour red gelatin over one cake layer and lime gelatin over the other cake layer. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Dip 1 cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds; unmold onto serving plate. Spread with about 1/4 of the frosting. Unmold second cake layer; carefully place top side up on first layer. Frost top and sides with remaining frosting. Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve. Decorate as desired.

Cherry Salad

1 packet sweetened orange flavored -gelatin
1/2 cup diced celery
2 cup canned red cherries
1/2 cup nuts
Few grains salt
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup boiling water
Mayonnaise dressing
Sugar


Drain cherries. Add 1 cup boiling water to juice. Add gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Add sufficient cold water to make 2 cups. Add cherries, celery, salt, and orange juice. Sweeten to taste. Mix thoroughly. Pour into individual molds. Chill until firm. Serve on bed of shredded lettuce. Serve with mayonnaise. Garnish with nuts.

Raspberry Pineapple Delight Salad

1 package raspberry gelatin
1 cup hot water
1 cup vanilla ice cream
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 9-ounces can crushed pineapple, drained
1 medium banana, sliced
1/2 cup chopped nuts


Dissolve gelatin in hot water; stir in ice cream and orange juice until blended. Chill until partially set; add fruits and nuts. Pour into 1-quart mold; chill until set.

Holiday Poke Cupcakes

1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any red flavor
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
Red or green food coloring
suggested decorations: colored sugar, colored sprinkles, crushed candy canes and/or JET-PUFFED HOLIDAY MALLOWS Marshmallows

PREPARE batter and bake as directed for cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 min. Pierce tops with fork.

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix until dissolved; spoon over cupcakes. Refrigerate 30 min. Remove from pans.

TINT whipped topping with food coloring; spread over cupcakes. Decorate as desired. Store in refrigerator.

Forever Jello

FOREVER JELLO


3 ounce jell-o, any flavor, (1 pack)
1 cup boiling water
8 ounce cola, cold
8 ounce cream cheese, 1/2 cubes
1 cup dark cherries, pitted drained
1/2 cup nuts, if desired


Dissolve jell-o in boiling water. When cooled to room temperature, add cola, cream cheese, cherries, and nuts, if desired. Pour into 6-cup mold. Chill until set.
