Eggless Sponge Cake

200.00 grams sweetened condensed milk
140.00 grams self-raising flour
60.00 milliliter melted butter or margarine
1.00 teaspoon (level) baking powder
0.50 teaspoon baking soda
1.00 teaspoon vanilla extract


1. Mix flour, baking powder, and baking soda together. 2. Mix the ingredients together. Add 75ml water and beat well. 3. Grease and dust a 6-inch diameter cake tin. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake in the pre-heated oven at 400 degrees f for 10 minutes. Thereafter reduce the temp to 300 degrees f and bake for a further 10 minutes. Cool the cake.
