Layered Pudding Dessert











If you were a member of my family when I was growing up, this was also known as Layered Pistachio Dessert or Layered Chocolate Dessert.  This dessert is yummy with either of those flavors.  Butterscotch is also very good!


1st Layer
 
 
1 c. flour
1 1/4 stick butter
3/4 - 1 c. walnuts, chopped finely

 
Combine and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 10- 15 minutes. Remove and cool.

 
2ND LAYER:

 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

 
Cream together. Spread on 1st Layer.

 
3RD LAYER:

 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. favorite instant pudding
2 c. milk

 
Mix until begins to thicken. Pour over 2nd Layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts.
