Pecan Fingers

1 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
Powdered sugar

Cream butter and sugar well. Add flour, salt, water and vanilla. Stir in pecans and beat. Roll dough out into finger size rolls and cut into 3-inchs lengths. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
