Zippy Beef Casserole

1 pound ground beef
1 (7 ounce) package uncooked elbow macaroni
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup catsup
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup potato chips, crushed
1 teaspoon salt


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook and stir meat until brown, drain. Cook macaroni as directed on box, drain. In an ungreased 2 quart casserole dish mix all ingredients except chips. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with chips and bake 5 minutes longer.
