** I know... there seems to be a recurring theme with the chocolate cakes, bars, etc., but you can NEVER have too much chocolate!**
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
4 ounces white chocolate
1/2 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place butter, sugar and egg in bowl of food processor. Mix until smooth. Melt chocolate in bowl over simmering water or in microwave. Mix together flour and baking soda. Add 1/2 to food processor. Pour buttermilk in processor. Mix. Add remaining flour. Process until well mixed. Add vanilla and almond extracts and melted chocolate. Pulse to mix. Pour batter in buttered 7 x 9 inch pan. Bake 9-10 minutes until sides pull away from pan. Sauce: While squares are baking, melt white chocolate in bowl over hot water or in microwave. Stir in cream. To serve: Cut cake into squares and pour sauce over top.
