This recipe is SO easy and so good. Especially good the next day, after being refrigerated.
2-8 oz pkgs crescent rolls
2-8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
1 c sugar
1 beaten egg
1 Tbsp vanilla
1/4 c cinnamon-sugar mixture
Unroll the first package of crescent rolls, press into 9x13 pan. Mix together cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla, spread over rolls. Unroll second package of rolls and arrange on top, over cream cheese mixture. I used a rolling pin to help connect the rolls, but little holes in the seams is okay and adds to the yummy appearance went its done too.
Sprinkle top with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, or until desired doneness...
Variations: cherry pie filling dolloped on top for serving

Hi! I just visited your site for the first time, and wanted to let you know how excited I was over so many recipes! :) I'm going to give the 'banana sweet potato puff casserole' a try soon...it sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteit is delish and so are these cinnamon squares - tastes more elegant and rich than the listing of ingredients and simplicity of the directions lends itself to be.
