Jamaican Casserole

   1 cup rice (dried)
   2 lbs. Sausage bulk, browned and drained
   2 large onions
   3 cups celery (sauté')
   1 green pepper
   4 package chicken noodle soup
   8 cups boiling water
   1 cup pimento
   1 large can mushrooms
   Mix all together and let stand overnight. Place in casserole. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees, covered. Then sprinkle 1 cup almonds on and bake uncovered 1/2 hour.
