Fun Chocolate Cake

4 squares chocolate
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
4 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups flour

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and combine with water. Cream together the sugar and shortening, add chocolate mixture, then mix in the eggs one at a time. Combine baking soda and sour cream and blend into sugar mixture, alternating with flour. Pour batter into baking pans and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
