Double Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 pockets (10 ounce) mint chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Melt one package of chocolate chips and set aside. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, and melted chocolate. In several additions add the flour mixture. Stir in remaining bag of chocolate chips. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
