Completely Ham and Bean Soup

2 cups ham (diced)
1 medium onion
1 celery stick
1 medium carrot (grated fine)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup catsup
Hot peppers (optional)
Keep seeds in for fire!


Mix ingredients in saucepan. Cover with water and cook for about 45 minutes. Then add 2 cans (16 ounces) of great northern beans, and cook for 15 minutes.
