Steamed Rice

Follow directions on rice package for proportion of rice to water. For best results, use long grain converted rice. Up to 1 cup raw rice may be prepared in crockette. 1 cup rice makes 3 to 4 cups cooked rice.

Rub crockette wall with 1 teaspoon butter. Pour in rice, water and salt. Cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours.
