Cinnamon Cake

1/2 stick margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional.

Topping:
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk alternately with flour. Stirring well after each addition spread in greased pan 9x13-inch pan. Melt margarine and pour over batter. Sprinkle sugar and spices over cake. Bake at 350 degrees.
